A little about me...

Hi! My name is Nina, and I am a lifelong animal lover and rescuer. Throughout my life, I have owned dogs, cats, and various types of rodents. I started walking dogs and helping friends/family care for their pets at around 8 or 9 years old, and brought home my first stray around that same age. In total, I have over 18 years of experience caring for pets; which includes experience with dogs & cats that suffered abuse, trauma, or neglect before being rescued

I am also currently working towards becoming certified in Cat & Dog First Aid through the American Red Cross.

Take a look at my boarding setup...

The idea of sending your pet to stay with someone else [especially a sitter you met on the internet] is likely to make most people nervous. With this in mind, I'd like to give you an idea of where your pet will be staying if you choose to use my Daycare or Boarding services. My goal as a sitter is to make my home feel like your pet's "home away from home" and especially somewhere you feel comfortable leaving your pet.

>> Access to a fenced-in backyard with an extra tall privacy fence

>> Puppy gates, playpens & crates available (used as needed)

>> Furniture privileges and access to plenty of pet beds and rugs

>> Access to toy bins, treat puzzles and other fun activities for pets

>> Bathing, brushing, and nail trim services (available by request)

More about me...

I live in North Richland Hills, Texas with my husband, Jake, and our two pets [Ila + Maeby]. My husband has been background checked and approved by Rover but does not take clients himself- he just helps me from time to time with my boarding and doggy day care clients. I am a full-time dog walker + pet sitter and take my job very seriously. I have a strong background in customer service and strive to provide every client with the best possible service. If you book with me, you can trust that you and your pet will be satisfied with my services.

My husband and I have been married since 2019. We are both originally from Michigan but moved to Colorado in 2021, and now Texas in 2023. We are excited to begin a new chapter here in the Lone Star State!

Meet my pets...

Ila // Domestic Longhair Cat

We rescued Ila when she was around 6-8 weeks old, just a few days after she was found by a family friend. She was found alone in the woods, hiding under a bush and crying for help. Ila is a rather shy/timid cat around strangers and doesn't often warm up to new people. However, she loves playing with her kitty cousin, Nub, whenever they get to visit. She is usually pretty leery of dogs but loves to watch them from a distance.

>> Prefers when dogs keep their distance

>> Not into cuddling with other cats but likes to play

>> Master of finding unique hiding places

>> Will absolutely lose her mind when given a squeeze up treat

>> Is happy to meet new people and pets, especially if they have treats

>> Loves dandelions & bananas

>> Hates being held

>> Eats her food in order of favorite to least favorite

>> Will happily chew through cords if given the chance

Maeby // Rabbit

We rescued Maeby when she was around 2 weeks old after my in-laws' dog, unfortunately, made her an orphan. Our goal was to raise her and then release her back into the wild once she was old enough to survive on her own. Little did we know, she would refuse to leave when the came time to finally release her. Now, over 2 years later we are the proud owners of one extremely spoiled cottontail rabbit.
